Pakistan Super League (PSL) is expanding!
CEO Salman Naseer has announced an auction for two new PSL franchises ahead of the league’s 11th season. Following this, interested investors will be able to bid for their teams and select city names. For existing owners, there is a path to retain control; specifically, they can match their team’s valuation. However, if they decline this option, new investors will then have the chance to join.
Regarding league operations, Naseer also stressed that all parties should handle franchise disputes privately and through legal channels. Ultimately, these new teams are expected to create a more competitive season. Furthermore, they will bring exciting cricket to more cities across Pakistan.
پاکستان سپر لیگ (پی ایس ایل) میں توسیع ہو رہی ہے! سی ای او سلمان ناصر نے اعلان کیا کہ لیگ کے گیارہویں ایڈیشن سے پہلے دو نئی فرنچائزز کے لیے نیلامی منعقد کی جائے گی۔ دلچسپی رکھنے والے سرمایہ کار بولی لگا سکتے ہیں اور اپنی ٹیموں کے لیے شہر کے نام منتخب کر سکتے ہیں۔
موجودہ فرنچائز مالکان کو یہ اختیار ہوگا کہ وہ اپنی ٹیم کی قیمت کے مطابق بولی لگا کر ملکیت برقرار رکھ سکیں، جبکہ اگر موجودہ مالکان انکار کرتے ہیں تو نئے سرمایہ کار شامل ہو سکتے ہیں۔ ناصر نے یہ بھی زور دیا کہ فرنچائز مالکان کے ساتھ کسی بھی اختلافات کو نجی اور قانونی طریقے سے حل کیا جائے۔
ان نئی ٹیموں کے اضافے کے ساتھ، پی ایس ایل مزید مقابلہ جاتی اور دلچسپ کرکٹ ایکشن کے لیے تیار ہے، جو پاکستان کے مزید شہروں میں مداحوں تک پہنچے گا۔
