PTA All-in-One Telecom App: Bids Open for Pakistan

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s all-in-one telecom app plan is now moving from idea to action. PTA has officially opened bids for the development of a unified mobile app. As a result, Pakistani users may soon manage all telecom services from a single platform.

PTA All-in-One Telecom App Tender Now Open

PTA has launched a formal tender process for the new app. In addition, the authority is also planning a complete overhaul of its existing web platforms. Both projects are part of PTA’s broader push toward digital service delivery.

Interested companies must submit their bids through the official e-PADS procurement system. Furthermore, each bidder must provide separate technical and financial proposals before the deadline.

What the New App Will Do

The new app will work across multiple operating systems and devices. Therefore, both Android and iOS users will be able to use it without any issues.

Key features of the app are expected to include SIM management, bill payments, complaint registration, and complaint tracking. In addition, users will be able to access telecom information and resolve issues faster than before.

How PTA Will Select the Developer

PTA is using a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure for evaluation. Moreover, bidders must show prior experience in building large-scale mobile and web solutions. The final selection will be based on both technical strength and cost effectiveness.

After the contract is awarded, the selected company must pass provisional acceptance testing. In addition, they must submit a performance guarantee before the full rollout begins.

Why This App Matters for Pakistan

Pakistan has over 190 million mobile subscribers. However, telecom complaint resolution and SIM management still require multiple platforms and steps. Consequently, this new app aims to fix that gap by bringing everything under one roof.

Overall, the PTA all-in-one telecom app reflects Pakistan’s growing focus on digital governance. If successful, it will make telecom services faster, simpler, and more accessible for millions of users across the country.
