Cashless Bazaar Pakistan Launched in Chaklala Scheme-III by Mobilink Bank and JazzCash

Karachi – April 10, 2026: Mobilink Bank, Pakistan’s leading digital microfinance bank, in collaboration with JazzCash, has launched a major cashless bazaar initiative in Chaklala Scheme-III, Rawalpindi. The project covers 900 shops and carts and supports Pakistan’s national shift toward a cashless economy in line with the Prime Minister’s vision and the State Bank of Pakistan. This cashless bazaar in Pakistan initiative aims to improve digital financial infrastructure in local markets, enabling faster, safer, and more efficient transactions for both merchants and customers.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by key dignitaries, including Brigadier Syed Ali Anjum, Station Commander Rawalpindi, as Chief Guest. Senior representatives from the State Bank of Pakistan, Mobilink Bank, JazzCash, and local merchants also attended, highlighting strong institutional support for expanding cashless bazaar projects across the country.

A key feature of this cashless bazaar initiative is the deployment of Raast-enabled QR codes across all 900 shops and carts. This enables merchants to accept instant and secure digital payments through mobile wallets, reducing reliance on cash and improving transaction efficiency. Customers benefit from real-time fund transfers and a seamless checkout experience, making everyday shopping faster and more secure.

Mobilink Bank will also open Business Plus accounts for participating merchants, providing access to SME financing solutions, health and fire insurance, as well as solar and electric vehicle financing options.

Haaris M. Chaudhary, President & CEO of Mobilink Bank, said, “This cashless bazaar Pakistan initiative brings small merchants into a more secure and inclusive financial system while accelerating financial inclusion at scale.”

Murtaza Ali, CEO of JazzCash, stated, “Through cashless bazaar Pakistan deployments, we are enabling merchants to transition into a connected financial ecosystem powered by Raast-enabled QR payments and digital innovation.”

The Chaklala Scheme-III cashless bazaar Pakistan project serves as a scalable model for nationwide digital transformation. By combining government vision with fintech innovation and strong execution, Mobilink Bank and JazzCash are accelerating Pakistan’s journey toward a fully cashless economy while promoting financial inclusion and supporting small businesses.
